With any smartphone it is normal to get the urge to customize it in any possible way to get the best user experience, and I have done exactly that with my Nokia E90. From a few productivity applications to some interface themes, I refreshed the appearance and usage of this reliable smartphone many a time and have come to enjoy it. However, there are some third-party themes that cause the efficiency of my E90 to suffer and I didn't realize this until now. These particular themes are not made by Nokia as default apps, so I believe that they aren't optimized to the fullest potential for operating in S60. One favorite theme was in use for at least two months and I became accustomed to the operating lag times of my Communicator. It wasn't until I had all of a sudden returned to a default theme that I realized just how slow the interface really was, and I was shocked.
As a result I am making the choice to remain devoted to only default themes for my E90. The newest theme I have recently found is the new S60 metal theme from the official Nokia S60 website and it looks much better. Any theme that is not optimized for S60 will hereby be gone.
