At this moment I am still somewhat speechless and left without words after seeing the movie "Life is Beautiful". Aside from the moving performances of the three central actors portraying an optimistic Jewish man, his wife and young son there is a strong message about accentuating positivity through all things negative. I won't provide any details on the plot of the film for the sake of spoiling it for those who haven't seen it, but it is definitely a must-see for any lover of true cinema artistry. Honestly this Italian foreign film is ranked at the same level with Cinema Paradiso and Like Water for Chocolate. There were a few times when I did shed some tears during some magical scenes and heart-wrenching moments.
What I have learned from this movie about putting my best foot forward in all that I do will stay with me forever, especially as I look forward to go to school. No matter what negativity is trying to consume me there is always a way to see the situation in a positive light.
